Hi everyone, Sonia here for my last post for this week. I have my other layout from the South Bank, Brisbane show for which I was lucky enough to be sent one of the Prima Paintables. These are absolutely gorgeous and will get your creative juices flowing as there is soooo much you can do to them. I had one of the papers but they also come as transparencies and are called clear paintables (alcohol inks look amazing on them).
For this layout I coloured the paper using watercolour pencils and then sprayed the page with Memory Mists in Strawberry Daiquiri and Amaretto - yummy! The butterflies are my all time favourite Lizzie Anne Designs Au Naturale stamps which have been watercoloured, sprayed and cut out. Last but not least the title is from a Maya Road chipboard key chain.
Now I'm going to pop up some shameless self tooting here but it was very exciting news and it involves one of my favourite brands - My Mind's Eye. They recently had a challenge on their blog using their Breaking Free range and little old me won - eeeekkk! If you use the link and have a look at the range you'll see it's HUGE with so much choice. It has a great choice for both girls and boys, most of it is double sided and there are accessories to match. Here is the layout but you can also pop over to the My Mind's Eye blog for a peak:
I used the following papers: Only Smiles Hot Dots (reverse side) used as cardstock, Sweet Butterfly Kisses (both sides), Summertime Boy Righteous Dots (reverse side), Sisters Tag die cut, Sweet rub ons and Sweet Small Accessories. The flowers are the rub ons used on cardstock and then cut out. A bit of a close up:
Next week the lovely Jane will be sharing her creations with you. Enjoy your weekend and happy creating!
